Manifesto

A registrar should do one thing. So we do.

The registrar is a checkout that pretends to be a product.

You came to buy a domain. They sell you hosting, SSL, "domain protection," "premium DNS," "auto-renew protection," 1‑800 support, an email plan, a website builder, a logo maker. Seven screens later, you forgot why you came.

We don't sell hosting. We don't sell SSL. We don't sell email plans.

Other people do all of those better. We sell domains. WHOIS privacy and full DNS aren't upsells here. They're part of owning a domain, so they're included, and anything else that is genuinely part of owning a domain will be included too. We are not going to invent a product out of a thing you already own.

The website builder for the next decade is a chat window.

You won't click through a registrar UI to find a domain. You'll ask "is clearbrew.com free?" mid-conversation, and your assistant will answer from the live registry. We built Just so that conversation can be with us, in Claude, in ChatGPT, in Cursor: same answer every time, and a checkout you open yourself. The assistant finds the name. The card stays yours.

You stay in control.

The registration is in your name, not ours. You edit the registrant record yourself, and you can point the name at any other DNS provider whenever you feel like it. An assistant connected to Just Domain can search and nothing else: it cannot charge your card, register a name, or touch a record. Control means we hold as little of your name as the job requires.

We are early, and we say so.

Just Domain registers domains and runs their DNS. Renewals, transfers in, transfers out, and self-serve account closure are not built yet, and until they are, the honest route for any of them is an email to us. We would rather publish that list than let you discover it at the worst possible moment. When those flows land, they will not be buried in a funnel either.

That's it.

We won't add a hosting plan next quarter. We don't have a sales team. The whole point of Just is that the company stays just as boring as the product.

It's all on one page: no fine print, no funnel.
