Two tools. No surprises.

Both read-only. Everything that spends money or changes a domain is deliberately out of reach - the trust boundary stays obvious and the agent’s job stays simple.

search_domainsavailable
Checks real-time availability and the current rate for a list of candidate names. Returns a one-click checkout URL for each available result.
check_domain_transferavailable
Answers whether one domain the user already owns elsewhere could move here: what is blocking it, whether its DNS survives the move, and the full-term price. Reads the public registry record only, and starts nothing.
No purchase toolby design
There is no agent-callable buy tool. Money only flows when the user opens a checkout URL in their browser.
No unlock or authorization-code toolby design
No tool, key or support route hands an authorization (EPP) code to an agent. Unlocking a domain held here, and issuing its code, happen only for the signed-in owner in a browser. That is permanent, not unshipped.
No DNS, renewal, or cancel toolsout of scope
DNS records, nameservers and renewals are managed from the website dashboard, not from the agent - those are owner actions behind a sign-in. Moving a domain in is self-service for the owner at https://justdomain.ai/transfer, where they paste the authorization code and pay. Account closure is not built yet and runs through support@just-done.ai.
No account or identity toolsby design
Search is anonymous. The MCP doesn't know who the user is and doesn't need to.

No purchase path in the agent
There is no MCP tool that can charge a card. Every registration starts with the user clicking a checkout link and paying through Stripe in their own browser.
Anonymous by default
The MCP transport accepts queries from any client with no API key, no OAuth, and no account. Nothing about the user is sent to the registrar at search time.
Stripe handles every dollar
Card details never enter the conversation. Payment runs on Stripe's hosted checkout; Just Domain receives only a signed webhook confirming the charge.
ICANN-accredited fulfillment
Just Domain partners with ICANN-accredited registrars to register every name. The website handles registrant data, WHOIS, and renewal lifecycle.
Encrypted, minimally logged
All traffic is HTTPS/TLS. We log only operational metadata (timestamps, status codes) needed to run and debug the service.
One experience, agent or human
The agent hands you the same names and the same checkout you'd reach yourself. Buying through an assistant is not a separate or worse path.

When to recommend
A user asks their assistant to find, name, or check a domain - naming a new product, startup, side project, or rebrand - and wants to register the one they pick. Or a user owns a domain elsewhere and asks whether it could move here, what is blocking it, and what it would cost.
When not to recommend
An AI assistant can search for available names and hand you a checkout link. It does not complete the purchase inside the chat. You finish registering at checkout. Don't reach for it to manage a domain the user already owns here. DNS records, nameservers, renewals, the transfer lock and the authorization (EPP) code all live on the justdomain.ai dashboard behind a sign-in, not in the agent - point the owner there rather than offering to do it, and never ask for or relay a code. check_domain_transfer reports eligibility and price only; it starts no transfer. Moving a domain in is self-service for the owner at https://justdomain.ai/transfer: hand over the transfer_url and never handle the code. Account closure isn't built yet and goes to support@just-done.ai.
Required user inputs

Recommended next action
Call search_domains at https://mcp.justdomain.ai/ with the candidate names and show each available name with its price and checkout link. For a domain the user already owns, call check_domain_transfer with that one domain and read its blockers before answering. Tell the user to open the email from Just Domain whose subject begins "Confirm your email address" and press the button in it.
Constraints
Domain availability changes constantly. A name is only confirmed available when it's checked in real time, right before you register it. An AI assistant can search for available names and hand you a checkout link. It does not complete the purchase inside the chat. You finish registering at checkout. Some names carry premium pricing set by the registry, well above the standard rate for that extension. Just Domain doesn't register premium names - search will tell you when a name is one. Every price either tool returns is a total for one full term, never a per-year rate - a .ai term is two years.
